How to use Embed to display an entire league match centre on your own sports website

Embed is part is of the Gold plan.

With Embed, you can easily display all league data on your website using only one HTML code snippet that you paste into a webpage. Embed allows you to showcase league standings, match results, and player statistics pages with ease.


Note: If you are not on a Gold plan, then you can try an Embed code snippet for 24 hours after which it will no longer work.


1. Creating an Embed HTML Snippet

Within League Admin, go to API > Embed

With Embed, you can quickly generate a HTML code snippet to display various league data elements such as standings, match results, and player statistics. These sections will appear as their own page, so you don't need any coding experience.

Use the generated Embed HTML snippet to display league standings, results, and player statistics on your website. Simply copy and paste the code into the desired web page outside of LeagueRepublic.

3. Automatic Updates

One of the key advantages of Embed is that your displayed content automatically updates whenever you make changes to your league data within LeagueRepublic. This ensures that your website visitors always have access to the most up-to-date information.

4. Customising the Look and Feel

With Embed, you have the power to customise the appearance of the displayed data without any coding. You can easily match it to your website's branding and design, ensuring a seamless integration.

If you ever need to make changes to the displayed data or customise it further, you can do so directly within our administration system. This means you have full control over how the data appears on your website.

6. Adding Embed Code Snippet to Your Web Page

To add the generated HTML and JavaScript code snippet to your web page, follow these simple steps:

a. Copy the Code: Once you've customised your code snippet or if you're using the default settings, simply copy the code provided from the API > Embed > Edit page.

b. Paste into Your Web Page: Go to the web page where you want to display the league data. Access the page editor or HTML source code and paste the copied Embed code snippet where you want the data to appear.


Note: The HTML snippet should be inserted into a webpage hosted on a domain; it won't function in a .html file served locally from the C: drive, for example.


c. Save and Publish: Save your changes and publish the web page. Your league data will now be visible to your website visitors.

That's it! You've successfully integrated LeagueRepublic Embed into your website to showcase league data effortlessly.
