You can disable the ability for people to sign up to receive automated email updates from your league, including news reports and result summaries.
To remove this widget, to this go to:
Setup > Settings > General Site Settings (tab)
Then click on the checkbox next to Follow the league widget - disable widget.
This will remove the link from your league website's right-hand side bar.
