The total team count is the total number of unique teams in divisions in the default season. If you use the same team across 2 divisions in the same season then this is classed as 2 teams. We don't count teams in tournaments.
If you are still in the process of creating teams for the season then make sure that you choose a plan that will allow for the final number of teams in your league.
