Terminology varies by sport and by country and language.
For you it might be a match, a fixture, a game, a matchup or a meet.
You can change all of the text in the public league website to be your preferred language, you can not change the language in the admin pages though.
Go to:
Setup > Settings > Terminology (tab)
Entering text here will change the text on your league website.
There are quite a lot of entries on this page so search for your text using the browser search e.g. Ctrl F on google chrome
