The LeagueRepublic API lets your own website, app or program read your league's seasons, fixtures, results, tables, teams and statistics, straight from LeagueRepublic. It is read-only: nothing in your league can be changed through it.
What you need
The Gold plan. The API is part of the Gold subscription.
The API switched on. Go to Admin Home > API > API Settings and tick Enable JSON API. You can switch it off again at any time.
Someone to build with it. A web developer, or an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude. The Build a… articles below give you ready-made instructions to paste into an AI assistant.
Step 1: Switch the API on
In your league admin, go to Admin Home > API > API Settings and tick Enable JSON API. The same page shows your league ID, which you need in the next step.
Step 2: Find your IDs
Every season, division and team has its own ID number. You use them to say which data you want. How the API works explains IDs and how to find yours.
Step 3: Choose how to build
With an AI assistant: pick the article for what you want to build and follow it.
With a developer: send them the API specification. It lists every service, field, limit and error message.
There is also a plain-text version of the same specification for AI tools:
Good to know
There is a limit on how many requests your league can make each minute. It is shared by everything that uses your league's data. Pages should save what they load rather than asking again and again. The specification gives the details.
Only approved results are shown, except on the match hub, which also shows live and unapproved results, clearly marked.
Anything hidden on your league's website stays hidden in the API too.
Not sure the API is for you?
If you don't want to build anything yourself, Code Snippets and League Embed put your league data on your website without coding. See Which integration is right for me?
LeagueRepublic does not offer a service to build custom websites or apps for you.
